Vein Specialists of the South, LLC accepts most major insurance plans and Medicare. Most insurance plans recognize symptomatic vein disease as a covered medical expense while spider veins are considered cosmetic. Each insurance contract has unique plan guidelines for procedure approval. Most plans cover treatment after a period of conservative management to include compression, elevation, exercise, weight management, and oral medications for pain. If you are experiencing symptoms of vein disease, it is worth finding out if your insurance plan covers the cost of treatment. Our insurance staff is trained to research your insurance coverage for vein care and help you navigate the approval process.
